Melanie Balderas

My design journey was unexpected, but I'm glad to be here. It started with music. I found my love of music in the hot, Texas weather during high school marching band. That love led me to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. From there, my passion for audio turned into my interest in creating help resources, which led to my interest in design. 
I never expected this path, but ultimately, my passion has evolved to understanding people and how to help them. While my portfolio has many music-based projects, music is its own language with so much complexity. If I can make music more user-friendly, I can make anything more user-friendly using the right tools and methods.
